1. Who we are

OSAM Design (“OSAM”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates osamdesign.com. For personal information collected through this Website, OSAM acts as the data controller unless another notice says otherwise.

You can contact us about privacy at hello@osam.design.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you use the contact form or contact us directly, we may receive your name, email address, project message, selected budget range and any other information you choose to include. Please do not submit sensitive personal information that is not necessary for your enquiry.

Technical and usage information

When you visit the Website, hosting and analytics technologies may process information such as your IP address, approximate location, browser and operating system, device type, referring page, pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, session timing and cookie or local-storage identifiers.

Information from communications

If we continue a conversation, we may keep related emails, messages, proposals and project discussions so we can respond and manage the potential or active business relationship.

3. How and why we use information

We use personal information only where we have a lawful reason to do so, including:

  • Responding to enquiries and taking steps toward a contract: to understand your request, contact you, prepare a proposal and discuss a potential project.
  • Performing a contract: to communicate with clients and deliver agreed services.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate, secure and improve the Website, understand which content is useful, prevent abuse and maintain business records, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent: where applicable law requires consent for analytics cookies or another specific activity. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligations and claims: to meet applicable legal requirements and establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

We do not use Website enquiries for solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Analytics and cookies

We use Yandex Metrica to understand Website traffic and how visitors interact with pages. Depending on its configuration and your browser, Yandex Metrica may use cookies or local storage and process page URLs, browser and device data, IP-derived information, clicks, scrolling and session activity. Session Replay is enabled on this Website.

Yandex states that Metrica uses anonymous browser identifiers and that identifying information should not be transmitted to the service. Form contents are used to respond to your enquiry and are not intentionally supplied to analytics as analytics parameters.

You can limit cookies through your browser settings and use browser privacy or blocking tools. Blocking analytics technologies may reduce the accuracy of our statistics but should not prevent access to the main Website content. Where applicable law requires prior consent, analytics should be used in accordance with that requirement.

For more information, see Yandex Metrica cookie information and the Yandex Privacy Policy.

5. Service providers and international transfers

We do not sell personal information. We may share it only as needed with service providers that help us operate the Website and respond to enquiries, including:

  • GitHub Pages, which hosts the static Website;
  • Cloudflare, which operates the contact-form delivery endpoint;
  • Telegram, which may deliver contact-form notifications to OSAM;
  • Yandex Metrica, which provides Website analytics;
  • professional advisers or authorities where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights.

These providers may process information in countries outside your own. Where required, transfers are handled using an applicable legal mechanism and appropriate safeguards. Third-party providers also process information under their own terms and privacy notices.

6. Retention and security

We keep enquiry and communication data only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage the relationship, maintain appropriate business records and meet legal obligations. An unanswered or inactive enquiry will ordinarily not be kept longer than 24 months unless there is a legitimate reason or legal requirement to retain it longer.

Analytics information and technical logs are retained according to our settings and the relevant provider’s retention rules. We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect information, but no method of internet transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion or restriction, object to certain processing, receive portable data and withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.

To make a request, email hello@osam.design. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We aim to respond within the period required by applicable law.

8. Children

The Website is intended for business and general audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Website. If you believe a child has submitted information, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the Website, our tools or applicable requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. We encourage you to review the policy periodically.

Questions, concerns and privacy requests can be sent to hello@osam.design.

This policy is designed to describe the Website’s current data flows in clear language. It should be reviewed if analytics, contact-form providers, company details or data practices change.
